About

Eliezer Gabriel Nieves (known professionally as El G.Nie) is a Latin hip hop artist, spoken word poet, author, and Latin GRAMMY® award-winning album executive. Born in Brooklyn, New York from Puerto Rican parents, El G.Nie brings a refreshing east coast sound with Latin American rhythms, bilingual flows and a signature Nuyorican flavor that has been compared to the likes of Big Pun, Vico C, and Don Omar. His vivacious artistry as a rapper and music educator, as well as his attune partnerships with Hillsborough County Commissioners & Chief Administrator of Human Resources has inspired hope and promise to the next generation of aspiring creative professionals.

As a solo performer, El G.Nie has toured the U.S.A. with multi-Latin GRAMMY® and EMMY® award-winning multi-instrumentalist, José Valentino both as co-artist and tour manager. His work has made appearances on radio stations such as 88.5 WMNF, Bull’s Radio, Hawk’s Radio, and La Ley 107.7 FM in Florida, as well as featured news articles by The Osprey Observer, The Oracle, Voyage Magazine and The Chattanoogan in Tennessee.

El G.Nie remains one of Florida’s premier artists and community entrepreneurs based in Tampa Bay under his brand, Gold Lamp Enterprises. His latest releases, “Out The Lamp,” and “On Fire” are 5-song EPs documenting his journey as an artist, recent impact on the music industry and the rebirthing of his identity.
